Walkin’ Pets was started in 2001 because there was a need to preserve the health and happiness of aging, injured, and disabled pets. Since then, we have partnered with over 300 different rescue organizations and sanctuaries to get these animals that are struggling with mobility back on their paws, providing them with independence in order to keep them happy and healthy.
At Walkin’ Pets, we strive to make life easier for animals and their caretakers. We know that it can be challenging to find forever homes for animals that may have special needs, and we are here to work hand in hand with rescue organizations to ensure that the animals in your care are getting the support and tools that they need to have the highest quality of life possible.

Tom, the Founder of Breaking the Chains Animal Rescue (BTC), began helping animals in the conflict zones of Ukraine during the ongoing war with Russia. After leaving the British army, Tom’s passion became solely focused on areas of neglect, corruption, and abuse towards animals. Tom and his team sacrifice their lives daily for these animals, putting themselves in harm’s way. The Breaking the Chains team dodges mortars, airstrikes, and bombs daily to save these defenseless creatures.
