A Beautiful Reminder
Lily is a beautiful reminder that our disabilities do not define us, whether they be physical, mental or trauma-based. You are good enough and your presence in this world matters!

Rue the Wheelie Warrior!
I pulled Rue from a high-kill shelter where she was due to be put down, and I got her within an hour of her being euthanized. We got her the wheelchair, and she started thriving. She is a wheelie warrior. I am so grateful for Walkin' Pets and John Cox from Ruck9.

A very happy Waffles update!
We started daily with in-home physical therapy, and eventually moved her into a wheelchair. At first it looked pretty hopeless, but then we decided to bring IHOP out, and again we saw a glimpse of Waffles using her legs. Once she conquered the wheelchair, the concern from the specialist was that because of her breed, as she grew - the fracture in her spine would eventually begin to cause her an immense amount of pain. They predicted she would not make it to a year old before we would need to cross her over. Well . . . Today Waffles is 14 months old, and you let us know how her quality of life looks."
