Pure Joy.

Our 8 year old belgium malinois/german shepherd named Ellie was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy. It was awful to watch her slowly lose her hind legs. After months of physical therapy, we bought this wheelchair. She LOVED it. I thought it would take her a while to get used to it, but it was like magic. I will never forget her expression when she could walk on her own using the wheelchair - PURE JOY. She was able to go to the bathroom by herself, jog along, be outside, take longer walks. Our vet and PT Vet both kind of discouraged the wheelchair - INSANE! It added such joy and pleasure to her final three months of life. It worked in the snow and in grass. Eventually we had to get the lift harness too when she was totally unable to walk. I appreciated the support and speed of delivery from Walkin' Pets.

These work great, my dog has slow to move in the walker, but she walked a little bit yesterday. Patience is key to success. My larger dog had hip dysplasia he got better after a month of walking with the wheels. So I put it up in storage. Now I needed a shorter unit so these foam wheels and struts work perfectly.

Love them

I love it! My dog needs it for her legs, which she regularly knuckles with. These socks make her walk properly, and they are a great fit for her. She moves properly with them on, and when we take them off I've noticed an improvement in her gait.

Smiles for dayssss

Could not ask for a better product. Our frenchton is living her best life getting to the speeds she use to and it puts such a smile on her face and ours. She has IVDD and had surgery 5 years ago. She's been pretty good but has been losing strength in her back legs so we decided to start getting her use to wheels when we play or go on a walk and she just loves them. It took some fenangling to get it right and I am not 100% sure it is 100% right but its right enough for her to love them. Also the harness that we got in the promo is 1000x better and more comfortable and easier to put on than the one that come with the wheels

The d-rings work very well they're a little

The d-rings work very well they're a little tight sliding over the pole that support the dog one more thing the end clips that hook on the end of those keep falling off is there a way to make those solids so you don't have to worry about cutting your hand when they're not on there

Good to have on hand

Only necessary to use it when doxie sister is in “silent heat” in order to prevent paw injuries that keep brother from IVDD water therapy. Haven’t actually used it yet, probably won’t until next spring. However, it looks to be well-made and fits him well.
