Walkin’ Pets launched its 2018 Walkin’ Pets Calendar Contest! The contest was discussed on the June 9, 2017 episode of the “Happy, Healthy Pets with Mark C. Robinson” radio podcast.
The featured guest of the radio podcast was Mikayla Feehan, Walkin’ Pets social media coordinator. Since voting for the Calendar Contest winners takes place on the company’s Facebook page, Mikayla is closely involved.
The contest has been held for the past three years. The calendar features as many pets as possible in addition to the top 13 winners.
All proceeds from sale of the calendar will go to the Handicapped Pets Foundation. This nonprofit is dedicated to providing free wheelchairs to pet owners in financial need.
Any pet in a Walkin’ Wheels wheelchair may be entered in the contest. Pet owners can find contest submission guidelines and submit their pet online on the Walkin’ Pets website.
Pet caretakers frequently create social media profiles for their beloved pets. Mikayla talked about some of her favorites. She also explained how she creates entertaining videos to post.
Besides Facebook, Walkin’ Pets has Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. They are all full of fun pet photos, links, and videos.
